Today on the Slanted Lens we are going to do something a little different. We will show what equipment we pack and how we pack it for a photo and video shoot that involves airplane travel. This is how we pack when we travel in the US or over seas.
Julene and I recently traveled to shoot on location in Fiji. We shot for the Beeve Foundation – a non-profit organization that provides the underprivileged people of Fiji with cataract and corneal transplant surgeries.
As we traveled we had a two-person crew and we packed 6 bags total and a laptop case. Two of the bags were our personal suitcases. I admit I do pack several pieces of equipment with my personal clothes. Shooting in Fiji was a gratifying and tough experience. I hope you enjoy these photography travel tipsKeep those cameras rolling and keep on clicking.
