Hi this is Jay P. Morgan. Today on The Slanted Lens we’re going to talk about tennis balls. They’re a critical item that you need on set. Let me tell you why- when you go on set this stand is gonna leave all kind of really bad black marks on the floor. You can prevent that by putting a little slit in the tennis ball right through the middle. Turn it into a Little Pac Man. Put that on the end of your stand. And now it won’t matter if it hits the floor, it’s not gonna mark it up. We were on set one time in a lady’s house and taking the stands out of the house. Really, really, really nice house. And my assistant put a really nice big black mark on the wall as he came down the staircase. It was going to be twelve hundred dollars to fix that black mark on the wall. ‘Cause she wanted to repaint the entire front area. Of course she did. She knew she had us over a barrel. Stands get dirty when you use them outside and you move them around. So put tennis balls on the legs when you’re on hardwood floor in anybody’s house. It’ll save you thousands of dollars.

There’s a quick tip about tennis balls. Keep those camera’s rollin’, keep on clickin’.
