Sony a9 Hands-on Camera Review

Sony a9 Hands on Review The Slanted Lens Jay P Morgan

The new Sony a9! We’ve got it with a hands-on camera review. Come see what we thought, today on The Slanted Lens.

We’d like to thank Rosco for sponsoring our camera reviews. You’ve got to check out their great LEDs. The Silk line of lights is fabulous. The 210, the 310, 110. Just great lights, so check them out.

Sony a9

This is Jay P. and Kenneth Merrill. Today we’re at a Santa Monica beach, and we’re reviewing the Sony a9. We’ve got Sarati here with us to help test it out. She’s a dancer, and gymnast, so she’s perfect for this camera review. We’re going to freeze some action with her jumping, and running, and just really play up the fact that this shoots 20 frames a second RAW.

The people at the Sony booth told us it’s not the case, but in my mind, the best reason to shoot with this camera is that you can freeze motion like crazy. If you need to get the ball right before it hits the glove, this is the camera to do it.

Check out the video, and let us know what you think about the Sony a9. We’ve also got some images below so you can check out the images up close and personal.

Will you be getting an a9? Does it fill a need you have? Does it have a place beyond sports and action photography? What other cameras would you like us to review? Let us know in the comments.

Also join our Facebook community group and get a discussion started there. We’d love to have you. Plus don’t forget to use our affiliate links to make your purchases. We’re grateful for the support.
