Check out all the new features coming to us from Adobe!

November 5, 2019 By Morgan

For all of you out there who love Adobe software like I do, I just attended AdobeMAX2019 in Los Angeles. There are some new amazing features coming out in the Creative Cloud that you will all be excited about.

The AdobeMAX2019 Keynote on Monday, November 4th revealed a lot of updates. You can watch the keynote here to see the updates first hand.

Some of the key things I walked away with are that Adobe is using Sensei artificial intelligence to make the Adobe suite faster, more intuitive and easier to be creative with.

Here are some of the updates for Photoshop, my favorite software:

Files now come up instantaneously when you open them.

Preferences are now sticky and will stay when you open and close your software.

Adobe select is instantaneous. You can click on an object in an image and it can automatically be selected. There is also a one click selection tool that will you allow you to remove backgrounds with just one click.

Photoshop is now extending to the iPad where you can composite images on your iPad, including the selection techniques mentioned above as well as the ability to refine the edges of your selection with brushes.

Within Lightroom you will now have access to step by step tutorials and there will be a new discovery area where you can download from a library of things like presets.

If you haven’t taken advantage of Adobe Stock you should check it out. There are now over 130,000,000 assets in the Adobe Stock library and you can take advantage of those from your Adobe suite and easily add images to your social posts and license images right from Spark!

If you are into fine art, painting or drawing the new Adobe Fresco has amazing features that feel and look like you are painting with watercolors or oils.

Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Rush are now faster and more intuitive for editing your videos. Adobe has developed freeform storyboarding and speed enhanced tracking and masking.

Another amazing feature is the new auto reframe where the software scans and analyzes your clip and can re-edit it into a vertical format! Nice for social posting! And you can share to your social platforms from Adobe Rush including the newly added TikTok.

Another big announcement for all you photographers is the Photoshop Camera app that allows you to change out lenses and lighting in your smartphone as well as adjust the brightness, contrast and auto toning. Then you can share these images instantly to your social media.

If you want to check out the upcoming Photoshop Camera go to https://Photoshopcamera.com and sign up for a limited preview!

There’s a lot more from Adobe that you can take advantage of it in your creative cloud Adobe suite and you can learn about it all on the AdobeMAX2019 website. https://max.adobe.com/
